Glass Options:
1. Frosted with clear lines.
2. Frosted.
3. Reflex. The glass is transparent from inside and reflective from outside.
Three panes of glass are used for increased energy efficiency. This feature blocks 86% of the sun’s ultraviolet rays.
Aluminum Frame “Thermo” keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
High thermal insulation means less wasted heat and energy. Aluminum frames “Thermo” are more energy efficient than stainless steel frames. The frame is constructed in such a way to avoid any thermal bridges. A piece of composite material with higher thermal resistance separates interior and exterior parts of the frame, thus preventing heat transfer.
In additional to higher R values, aluminum frames are corrosion resistant, which makes them suitable for harsh enviroments such as coastal regions.

Why doors freeze?
A regular metal door, wether it’s insulated or not, will freeze. It doesn’t matter how much insulation implemented and how thick is a metal sheet. A metal door is constructed with a closed metal profile (a hollow metal profile with closed cross section). Stainless steel has a high thermal conductivity. Freezing happens fast.
To avoid freezing, VilleDoors implements metal profiles with “thermorupture”. A piece of material with low thermal conductivity divides interior and exterior parts of the door.
Sample of a bad insulated door. Condensate, or as a result, frost is formed on the warmer, interior side. It’s a natural physical process, when there is a big difference in temperature inside and outside, supported by humidity and cold metal surface in a warm invironment.
Same conception applies for hot regions, such as Miami, Florida. Well insulated door helps to save energy for an air conditioned room.

Stainless Steel Double Doors
Double doors are the doors with both slabs active, meaning both doors can open when needed. One door remains closed by means of flush bolts. The doors can be produced in different sizes. For example 36″+36″, 32″+32″, 36″+20″, 36″+16″

Doors with Glass Sidelites and Transom
Sidelites can be produced in two versions – fixed or active. An active one usually has the same design as the main door (see the image below). A fixed sidelite can be made with glass from bottom to top. Doors with fixed sidelites come only with aluminum frame.
Sidelites and Transom Options
Glass Sidelites are available in the following widths: 12″, 16″, 20″.
Transoms are available in the following heights: 12″, 16″, 20″.
